South West Community Woodlands Trust Jan 10th 2016 12am
held at Taliesin (breezy dry and tiny hint of sun)

Present: Trustees – Peter Darwell, John Allison, Ed Iglehart, Jem Cox, Jenny Stephenson, Charles Bett, Ben Glanville
Members – Karen Slatterly, Maia and Yazmin, Aaron Gauld, Gavin Phillips, Peter Buxton, Mary and George Pattison, Marcus Henry, Anna, Noa and baby Godfrey, Mel Henry and Angus, Jack Pallinder, Tom Glanville, Solly Stephenson, Josephine Pallinder, Phil Daube, Jo Mercer, Phil Mathieson, Sean Clayton, Andy and Kate Adamson, Sara Lochead, Richard and Jane Middleton, Mel Winter, Hazel and Tom Lyth, Mas Smyth, Richard Cunningham, Jools Cox
1 Minutes of previous AGM , an 2015 read and approved - Minutes were circulated to all trustees and members at the AGM no corrections noted
2 Annual Report and Orchard Project Report was read and approved
3 Treasurers Report Charles reported that we have £6,601 in the Taliesin account including a donation of £1,000 from a sponsored cycle by Adam, Will and David. Letter of thanks to go to them.
Approx £500 is owed for the pond dredging.
Orchard Project has £2,308.38
4 Election of Trustees:
The present trustees - David Jones, Alyne Jones, Ben Glanville, Jem Cox (Chair) Trevor Leat, Charles Bett (Treasurer) Jenny Stephenson, Ed Iglehart, Peter Darwell, John Allison and John Crosby are willing to stand for another year. All agreed.
Two trustees are standing down, Phoebe Marshall who is a very active member and Forest School teacher, and frequent course leader and Richard Cunningham who has also been an active member, Company secretary and enthusiastic forager of fungi and with Ed has led many a fungi foray, we thank them both for their wonderful service and hope they will continue to be active members.
Karen Slattery has been nominated by Jools and seconded by Charles to be a trustee, she has been a member for many years and together with Aaron, Jenny, Phoebe etc runs the Kids camp. Vote taken and all agreed.
Liz Stansbridge, a new member has expressed an interest in being a trustee next year Liz will attend trustee meetings in the meantime to see how it all works
The 20 years of Taliesin September Festival was discussed, the vision, the practicalities and the offers of help. We are all going to pull together to have a celebration for past present and future members of South West Community Woodlands Trust.
Food and conversation was shared and we walked to Godfrey’s Cairn to pay our respects.
